Rice Venere Nero Whole Wheat 500g

A type of whole grain rice, very dark purple in color, which is why it is also called black rice. In addition to its unique appearance, it has a clear flavor and aroma that is very reminiscent of freshly baked bread. The name Venere (Venus) is a direct reference to what was once considered a powerful aphrodisiac. Alternatively, it was called “the forbidden rice”.
Venere rice is not a GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) product.
The grains are resistant, as a result of which it remains grainy after cooking. Therefore, it is ideal as an accompaniment to meat or fish, in cold dishes or with raw or grilled garnishes. It also replaces bread perfectly. An idea for the summer? Salad with Venere Nero rice, feta cheese, walnuts and pomegranate!
Boiling time: 40-45 minutes, 20 minutes in a pressure cooker.
