Potato Gnocchi with Crab Meat Recipe

Ingredients for 2 people:
300g potato gnocchi, 150g crab meat, 120g mascarpone cheese, 1 small shallot
2 tablespoons Mutti tomato puree, 1 small shot of vodka or grappa, 20g butter, salt and pepper.
Preparation:
Place the butter in a pan and melt over medium heat, then add the sliced shallot. After sautéing for a few minutes, add the crab meat, drained of its preserving liquid, and cook for a few minutes until completely dry.
At this point, add the vodka or grappa.
Let all the alcohol evaporate and add the tomato puree. Let it reduce for a few minutes, then add the cream and season with salt. At this point, cook the gnocchi in plenty of salted water. As soon as they float, drain them directly into the pan with the sauce, stirring briefly to blend the flavors. Serve with freshly ground pepper.
