Famous Sardinian cheese with a long history.
Special aroma, has a slightly spicy taste, due to its maturation.
It is traditionally prepared with lamb rennet. It is white, hard, dense in texture and with a white crust.
Ideal for sweet and sour or bittersweet combinations, it goes well with honey, jams, fruits, fresh vegetables, grated on pasta dishes. Of course as an ingredient in many recipes. Combines with medium or long aftertaste red wines.
Ingredients: Whole pasteurized sheep’s milk, salt, lamb rennet, probiotics.
