Giulio Cocchi’s Aperitivo Americano Bianco is an aromatic wine produced in the Asti province of Italy, a recipe of Moscato white wine, sugar, aromatic herbs and spices, such as gentian, artemisia, cinchona, bitter orange and elderberry.
This wine is aged for 12 months before being released to the market. With a light golden yellow color, Giulio Cocchi’s Americano Bianco opens on the nose with fruity citrus notes and spicy notes of chocolate, cinnamon and menthol.
On the palate it is complex, with aromas of raisins, citrus, licorice, rhubarb and cocoa that accompany a finish with pleasant notes of tobacco and cinchona.
The Americano represents the aperitif par excellence, ideal to be served with ice, a little water and squeezed orange peel. It is also used in mixing famous cocktails such as the Vesper Martini, made famous by the legendary James Bond character.
