Savoiardi 400g

The famous Savoiardi or Savoyards take their name from the Savoia region. Sweet and light egg-based biscuits, with a crumbly and spongy texture.
Also known as lady fingers or biscuit à la cuillère in French, due to their shape. Their origin is traced to the late 15th century, when they were made at the court of the House of Savoy on the occasion of the visit of the King of France.
Main ingredient in many desserts. Their best known use is in Tiramisu’.
Ingredients: wheat flour, sugar, eggs 26%, raising agents (ammonium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate), glucose syrup, natural flavors.
May contain traces of nuts in shell and milk.
