DOGC wine, produced in Tuscany and specifically in the Chianti region, exclusively from the Sangiovese variety 95% and the Canaiolo variety 5%.
It matures in tonneau barrels and small oak barrels, for about 9 months. It then matures in the bottle for the same period. A wine that seeks maximum elegance.
Ideal accompaniment for prosciutto crudo, salami, game, red meats.
With the bottle in a horizontal position, in a cool, dark, humid cellar, it can be kept for 4-5 years.
Served at 18 °C in a transparent columnar glass. Alcohol content 13.5% vol
