Chocolate, brandy or cognac go wonderfully together, especially with dark chocolate. They also go well with cocoa biscuits, pistachio biscuits, Gianduja chocolate, Dubai chocolate and Cantuccini biscuits, which combine with the more intense and complex notes of brandy or cognac, creating a balanced taste.
The cognac or brandy should, of course, be very old, such as Metaxa 12 Stars.
For optimal taste, we recommend drinking a little Metaxa first, then tasting the chocolate and letting it melt slowly in your mouth, allowing the aromatic notes of both to combine.
