L’Aperitivo Americano Bianco di Giulio Cocchi is a flavored wine produced in the province of Asti, Italy, obtained by infusion of white Moscato wine, together with sugar, aromatic herbs and spices, including genzianella, artemisia, china calisaia, bitter orange and sambuco flower. This vino matures for 12 months before being put on the market. Di colore giallo oro chiaro, l’Americano Bianco di Giulio Cocchi opens to the nose with scents of citrus fruits and spices of chocolate, cinnamon and menthol. In the mouth, it is complex, with aromas of raisins, citrus fruits, liquorice, rhubarb and cacao that accompany a finale with gradual notes of smoke and china. L’Americano represents the aperitivo par eccellenza, ideal to serve with ice, sprinkled with seltzer water and squeezed orange peel.
