Made from pork fat, it is naturally aged with a mixture of salt, pepper, and spices (cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg).<\/span><br \/>\n<span>It is wrapped in a non-edible natural casing and left to age for 3 to 6 months under controlled temperature and humidity conditions.<\/span><br \/>\n<span>It is served in very thin slices and is ideal as an appetizer, on a cold cuts\/cheese platter, in a salad with fennel and olives, with fruit, and more.
