Sweet and light egg-based biscuits, with a crumbly and spongy texture.<\/span><br \/>\n<span dir=\"auto\">Also known as lady fingers or biscuit \u00e0 la cuill\u00e8re in French, due to their shape. Their origin is traced to the late 15th century, when they were made at the court of the House of Savoy on the occasion of the visit of the King of France.<\/span><br \/>\n<span dir=\"auto\">Main ingredient in many desserts.
